Historical Newcastle Waters
Three kilometres west off the Stuart Highway is the historic town of Newcastle Waters. Experience the heady atmosphere of the old droving days as you visit the Drover's Memorial Park.
The historic Jones store, built in 1934, is now a museum. Have a look at how the people, isolated from everything, carved a life in the Australian outback.
Elliott Golf Course
Play a round of golf on this nine hole course. Visitors can hire clubs and have a lazy round of golf on the well kept greens.

There is plenty of wildlife around Elliott. You can see exotic tropical trees and shrubs, cockatoos and parrots, kangeroos, spectacled hare-wallaby, and lizards.
